What can be done to make the Inner Healing and Deliverance (IHAD) process more successful? The following list may be helpful in preparing for your first, and if needed, subsequent meetings. Please do the following before your upcoming session.
- Get lots of rest in a quiet, peaceful place away from distractions. (John 14:27.)
- Relax by reading God's Holy Bible, especially God's promises for you, and pray in agreement with God. (Philippians 4:6-9.)
- Listen to peaceful Christian music (see our Links page for suggestions such as Radiant TV.) (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16.)
- Eliminate distractions during your session. For example, please arrange for a sitter for your children and pets. Also, turn off background sounds such as television, radio, music, etcetera. ONCE THE MEETING STARTS, MUTE YOU CELL PHONE FROM INCOMING CALLS.
- Please show up on time for your appointment. Call or text as soon as practical if unable to be prompt, or to cancel if you have an emergency. (Matthew 5:37.) Unless you are having an emergency, please do every thing you can to keep your appointment for the full duration of the meeting. Someone else needing help may have had to wait because this appointment wasn't available for them. (Also, other ministers on our ministry team have set aside their time for you to be a part of your session.) Please do not make an appointment unless you fully intend to keep it. Please do not have a conflicting appointment planned immediately after your session as your meeting may last longer than the allotted time. Some meetings can go on for several hours. If you were in surgery, you wouldn't get up in the middle of it and tell your doctor you had to go shopping, would you?
- In many cases, demons will try to convince a person that they really don't need deliverance after all -- in an attempt to avoid being detected. People who may have demons and cancel their appointment will continue to keep their demons! We reserve the right to decide not to reschedule a person who cancels or does not show up on time for their session. Remember, we are on east coast (New York) time. It is up to you to figure out how to meet with us in our time zone. We may also refer you, at any point in the process, to another agency who we believe may be able to help you better. We also reserve the right to cancel any appointment before it begins due to circumstances beyond our control or for any other reasons.
- We use virtual Zoom meetings using the Internet to record all meetings for quality and training purposes, safety, and legal protection (no exceptions.) These recordings, once made, along with all associated communications, will be kept indefinitely at our discretion (similar to when you visit any professional office.) Please find another ministry or professional service if you do not want to agree to recorded sessions or provide us with the information we need to help you. We may have other ministers that also attend our meetings at their own discretion to assist us with the deliverance process. You are free to stop using our services at any time and to go elsewhere if you are uncomfortable with our policies. You will be asked when the session begins for your permission to have the meeting recorded. If you decline, the meeting will be cancelled.
- Please ensure your electronic device is fully charged and plugged in. Download the Zoom app and enable all permissions for smooth functionality. Please have room lighting in front of you with full head and shoulders view (avoid bright background, side or overhead lighting) for best results. We need to see your face and eyes during the session. Your device camera should be at eye level and on a solid surface. After your meeting starts, please place your device on DO NOT DISTURB to prevent disruptions and distractions by others. If you don't know how to place your device on DND, please ask for help from family or a friend prior to you scheduled meeting, check your owner's manual, or watch a YouTube video to figure it out.
- Please remove all jewelry, necklaces, rings, ear rings, piercings, bracelets, and so on, for your safety and protection. Please make sure you are fully clothed in modest and comfortable attire.
- It is advisable to have your Bible, and a waste basket or plastic trash bag, tissues, and a towel handy. You may also want to have paper and pen handy to write down any information before or at the end of the meeting. Please do not take notes during the session. We will send you materials that will help you after the meeting.
- Remember that IHAD is a process that may take more than one session (not necessarily with our ministry.) It can be compared to an onion wherein some layers may be removed, but some may remain. The goal is to completely get to the core. However, we reserve the right to stop a session at any time, or to refer you to someone else, at our discretion.
- If you have further questions or concerns, email is the best method of communicating with us. However, we reserve the right to respond (or not) to any communications at our discretion. We will not respond to spam, sales, political or hostile intent, belligerent or hate speech, and so on. Please respect our hours of operation as we also have other ministries, clients and responsibilities to attend to.
- Our volunteers minister to those who truly desire our help as we are led by the Lord Jesus the Christ. We are not God, but are only mere mortal tools in the Lord's hands. JESUS IS THE HEALER. Only He is worthy of all glory, honor and praise in thanksgiving with a grateful heart. Please give Jesus the thanks!
